Complimentary Clarity Call

What it is, what we talk about and what it isn’t

Nervous about hypnotherapy or counselling?

Let me explain how my complimentary clarity call works.

Who is the call for?

It is for anyone who is serious about wanting to change and feel better in life.

It can also be about gathering information. I help other therapists, charitable organisations and businesses who want to find out more about me and what I offer.

Why People Feel Nervous About Reaching Out

When we have a problem, we all feel nervous about reaching out to get help. That’s normal.

Some people worry about being sold to when what they really want is to gather information to make a choice. Other people might worry about being judged, and some don’t want to make a commitment because it’s not the right time to change.

This article explains exactly what happens, so there are no surprises.

I want you to feel calm and comfortable, and to have all the information you need to feel confident in your decisions.

What Is a Complimentary Clarity Call

When you book a free video call with me, it is a short call, around 30 minutes long. We’ll have a chance to briefly talk about the problem, ask questions, and check whether I am the right person for you.

You might be asking yourself:

  • Is hypnotherapy right for me?
  • What if I really need something else?
  • Will I like you?
  • Will hypnotherapy work?
  • How many sessions do I need?
  • What does it cost?
  • How do I get started?

What a Clarity Call Is Not

I want to reassure you that this call is not a sales call and there is no pressure to book my services.

Also, I want you to know that there are no hidden costs, you are not judged and you don’t have to decide on anything during the call.

It’s not a test either.

You get what you need.

A Gentle Invitation to Get in Touch

Remember, there is no obligation, as this is simply a conversation.

No pressure, just clarity to make the first step to change.

If you wish, you are welcome to email me first to find out if I can help with your problem. There’s a form on my contact page.

What We Might Talk About

I am interested in what is bringing you here now.

  • When the problem first started.
  • How this issue affects your day-to-day life.
  • What you have already tried.
  • What you would like to change.
  • Any questions or concerns you have.

I want to know about the outcome when the problem has gone or changed. What will life look like and feel like for you then?

I want to reassure you that you do not need to tell me your whole story.

I check for safety and that we are the right fit.

Do I Need to Prepare or Say Anything Personal?

I want you to feel calm and in control during this call, so you don’t need to prepare unless you want to.

During our chat, you can share as much or as little as you want to. If you have periods of not knowing what to say, I understand that can happen to some people.

It’s okay to feel emotional if the problem triggers this.

It’s good if we can see each other face-to-face, but if that is a problem for you, please tell me, and you can leave your camera off.

Feeling a bit nervous about the whole thing is normal.

Is the Call Confidential and Private?

I know that trust and ethics matter. They would to me if I were in your shoes.

I want to reassure you that:

  • The call is confidential
  • It is not recorded, and I don’t want you to record the session either without my permission.
  • Although you will have given me your name and email address, at this stage, I don’t need to know anything else about your personal details unless you choose to give them to me.
  • I don’t write things down.
  • Your information is not shared.
  • There is no one in my room with me when we are having a chat, so online sessions are private at my end.

This call is a safe space where you can go at your own pace.

Will You Try to Sell Me Something?

Many calls like this from some therapists and coaches have the aim of getting you to buy their service. Of course, I would like to help you too, but as I have been in business for a long time, people contact me regularly from the UK and around the world for help, so if someone doesn’t use my service, there will often be others who will.

Rest assured, I will not pressure you.

If I can see different options to help you with the problem, I will tell you about the options, so you have a choice. This ensures that you are always in control of getting to the solution.

Saying no is completely okay.

This is an honest conversation with no obligation to buy my services.

What Happens at the End of the Call?

As we get to the end of our call, I’m not going to put you on the spot to make a decision.

You can take time to think. This means you can decide to do nothing, or you could choose to book sessions with me later.

Sometimes people have a question after the call. If this happens to you, just go to my website and contact me again. Send me an email with the question, and I will answer it in the best way I can.

We will decide on the best plan forward together, and you will leave with clarity.

Is This Call Right for You?

This complimentary call is right for you if you want clarity, not pressure, and you want honest information.

I want you to feel listened to and understood, so I aim to be calm, friendly and offer a professional approach.

Practical Details

Let me now answer some of the practical questions you might have.

How long does the call last?

Up to 30 minutes.

How is it delivered?

You talk to me online via Zoom. You can use your phone, laptop or tablet.

How do I book a complimentary clarity call?

Simply book a session.

Can I cancel or reschedule?

Yes. It’s easy through my online booking system.

Can I have someone else in the room with me?

Yes. I would like you to introduce them to me rather than them lurking in the background. Sometimes I suggest a parent to join in on a call if the person is under 18 years of age.

I want you to know that it’s not difficult to contact me and book a session.

It doesn’t matter where you are; you can feel in control.
